Elie Touma is full of energy and, with a very sweet smile, spreads positivity with those around him. He enjoys learning new hymns that bring him closer to the Lord and listening to Bible stories shared by his teachers. He likes expressing his opinions and speaking up in class. His favorite subject is English, and he dreams of becoming an artist.
Since entering school, Elie has been striving to develop himself both academically and spiritually. His teachers have witnessed remarkable growth in his personality. One of the key factors contributing to this development is his improved handwriting and academic progress. His relationships with his classmates have become deeper, filled with love and willingness to help when needed.

He explained, “The time spent in chapel is incredibly meaningful to me because it’s when we come together to praise the Lord. During these moments, I’ve learned the importance of love, support, and selfless service to my friends, without expecting anything in return. I’ve come to realize the significance of treating everyone equally, without favoritism, as we are all created in the image and likeness of God.”
His sister’s pride and joy reflect the profound impact of Hope Educational Centre, elevating not just Elie’s academic achievements but also his spiritual growth and moral development. “Thank you for taking care of my brother and changing his life,” she said, adding, “My brother’s favorite verse is “Be kind to one another.'” I participated in a small story about Elie inside the house and in his relationships with his siblings. It was that when he sees his siblings arguing over any situation, he begins to chant for them, “Be kind,” emphasizing the extent of his influence by this verse and the importance of his growth in spiritual life thanks to God’s chances for Elie through HOPE Educational Center.
